This document is a starting template prepared for StayGu. It has not been reviewed or certified by a lawyer and must be completed with the operator's legal details and reviewed before launch.
What we collect
- Account holders: name, email, phone, WhatsApp, country, area, preferred language and billing details.
- Guests: no account is required. We record anonymous usage events (for example, a guide was opened) using a random session reference.
- AI concierge: guest questions and automatic answers, stored without names or contact details, so hosts can improve their guides.
How we use it
- To provide guides, listings, payments and support.
- To show hosts and businesses aggregated statistics about real activity.
- To send transactional emails related to your account. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
Retention
Guest AI concierge conversations are kept for up to 12 months. Raw analytics events are kept for up to 25 months and then only kept as daily totals. Account data is deleted when you request account deletion, except where we must keep records (such as invoices) by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. You can request deletion from your account settings or contact us.
Processors
We use trusted service providers for hosting, payments, email delivery, maps and AI processing. They process data only on our instructions.
